Stomach

Located between the esophagus and the small intestine, the stomach secretes acid and enzymes that help digest food. If there are polyps or tumors, or if there is bleeding, a partial gastrectomy may be required. This is when part of the stomach is removed.

St. Luke’s expert team of general surgeons and physician assistants offer surgical consults at these locations.
