Philosophy of care
I am dedicated to patient-centered care. I feel it is imperative to build rapport with each and every patient, learning about them as a whole person and then tailoring their treatment plan for success. I believe that making therapy motivating allows the patient to have fun, which leads to the most successful outcomes

Why Monica went into the medical field
I always knew that I wanted to go into the medical field and that I wanted to help people. After looking into different medical professions, I learned that Occupational Therapy helps people become as independent as possible after illness or injury. To me, this was a perfect fit; it allows me to be creative and to assist patients in meeting their goals during some of the most challenging times of their lives.
