Why Dr. Amunrud went into medicine
I stumbled into the medical field during my research experience as an undergraduate at UMD. I had great mentors who saw that it would be a good fit for my skills and temperament. I haven’t looked back, and I am grateful for their guidance.

I don’t sit still well! My family and I enjoy traveling, biking and hiking. I tend to spend time building stuff, large and small. I also love a good sauna.
