Does St. Luke’s have an inpatient unit for mental health?
Yes. When a person is experiencing a mental health crisis, the most appropriate care to meet their needs may be on our hospital’s inpatient unit. We strive to preserve their dignity while ensuring their physical and emotional safety at the same time. A referral is not required for our inpatient mental health services.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, call 911 or come into
St. Luke’s Emergency Department.
If you are not experiencing a mental health crisis and think you may benefit from psychiatry, talk to your primary care provider. To establish care with a St. Luke’s primary care provider, call 218.249.4000 or find a clinic near you.
