Philosophy of care
I strive to have my patents always involved in their treatment plan and ongoing care. It is important to assess and treat each patient in a holistic and meaningful way. I always want my patient, regardless of their age, to feel that their feelings and aspirations are heard. I structure my evaluations and treatment sessions in order to target these specific areas and to improve outcomes in meaningful areas of my patient’s lives.
Why Lindsay went into therapy
Growing up, I had a twin sister with cerebral palsy who received frequent pediatric and adult therapy. After seeing how much occupational therapy benefitted her, I have always wanted to have the same affect on others, helping them engage and play in their environment, and live life to the fullest.
Favorite advice to give patients
Always try your best. Your best will look different day-to-day, and that’s okay. Just always keep trying and be gentle with yourself.
I enjoy being outdoors, running, hiking on local trails, cross country skiing, swimming, painting, agate hunting, and going to the Boundary Waters with my fiancé and pup (Phoebe).
