Why Lakeisha went into medicine
I was always interested in my science courses throughout school, and I did my fair share of research on what jobs were available in that field. My advisor in college helped me decide that the journey to becoming a Physician Assistant was the right path for me. Following my undergraduate graduation, I worked within the Heart Center at the St. Cloud Hospital and that is where my love for Cardiology began. After that, I was determined to work as a Cardiology PA-C.
