Dr. Silva-Benedict has been heavily involved in cancer research throughout her career and has proven instrumental in helping to bring vital clinical trials to St. Luke's through our partnership with the Whiteside Institute for Clinical Research to offer patients the highest standard of care.

Dr. Silva-Benedict has given numerous breast cancer talks in the community. She gave the first lecture, "Chemotherapy's Impact: How It Affects Your Body and Mind" in St. Luke's Understanding Cancer Survivorship: Lecture Series.
