Philosophy of care
“I have a core belief that the ability to communicate is fundamental to quality of life. It is important to partner with patients and families to provide therapy that is appropriate, beneficial and meets the patient’s needs and wishes as best as possible.”

Why Kendra went into therapy
“Communication is something that most of us take for granted until we are unable. I like that I get to help people on their journey of improved communication.”

Favorite advice to give patients
“Remember to be as patient and kind to yourself while you are recovering as you would for family and friends. People tend to be harder on themselves when it comes to making progress, especially after an event like a stroke. It is important to realize that recovery takes time.”
