Philosophy of care
“Healthcare is a partnership between the patient and provider. We must work together to achieve health goals. Respect, compassion and accountability from both parties are cornerstones to making this partnership work."

Why Kelsea went into medicine
“My wish has always been to work in a career that allowed me to help others. Practicing medicine offers an opportunity to fulfill this wish, as well as use my skills in science and build relationships with the people that I provide care to."

Favorite advice to give to patients
“Make one change at a time when looking to live a healthier lifestyle. Master that, and add another healthy change. Living healthy should not be overwhelming. Allow yourself time to adjust, forgive yourself for your mistakes, and try to make every day better than the last."

Hometown
"I was fortunate to grow up in Duluth, MN. I cannot express how grateful I am to have an opportunity to provide a service in the town that I grew up in and give back to the community that raised me."

Hobbies
"My main interest involve being outdoors: hiking, fishing, camping, kayaking and archery. I also love to read, and spend time with my family, friends and Labrador Retriever, Layla."
