Philosophy of care
I find it extremely important to maintain good communication between the physician, patient and myself. Each individual plays a role in the teamwork needed for proper care. As a clinician, I try to stay current with the latest medical literature and incorporate this into my treatment sessions as well.

Why Katie went into therapy
I always wanted to find a career that promoted health and wellness. I also enjoy educating others and considered going into education. After observing in an outpatient PT clinic, I learned that physical therapy was a career in which I could do both.

Favorite advice to give patients
Find a physical activity that you really enjoy and make it a habit in your life. ‘A body in motion tends to stay in motion.’
