Philosophy of care
Life is what you make it. I want people to let me help them make it their best life. I feel the most important aspect of care is to develop relationships with my patients that help them to become their best selves. I strive to encourage patients by recognizing their strengths and building on them to improve their health.
Why Courtney went into medicine
From a very young age, I knew I wanted to be a nurse. I grew up with a disabled brother who required in-home nursing care for much of my childhood. This experience has driven and motivated me to become my best self and has allowed me to be an empathetic friend to my patients. After 12 years as a nurse, becoming a nurse practitioner was the next step in furthering my career. I intend to develop relationships with patients and provide them with continuity of care throughout their lives.

Never quit on a bad day.
