Philosophy of care
My goal is to provide equitable and compassionate care while keeping in mind that it’s a privilege to care for each patient.
Why Dr. Johnson went into medicine
I was greatly influenced by a childhood friend who died from cancer. Witnessing this made me want to go into a profession that’s purpose was bigger than myself. This life experience coupled with a curiosity for science drove me into medicine.

Good health is all about moderation.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter. I also enjoy basketball, snowboarding, and anything Minnesota sports. Row the boat, Ski-U-Mah, go Gophers!
