Philosophy of care
I strive to partner with each patient and their family members to educate, guide and provide tools that will help them be their own best health advocate. Ultimately, I work to facilitate a shared decision-making process that will achieve their health goals.

Why Amanda went into medicine
Watching several close family members cope with chronic diseases growing up made me passionate about nursing and helping others. Additionally, my mom was a nurse on a pediatric cardiology floor and I was fascinated by it. At four years old, I knew how blood flowed through the heart by memory!

Favorite advice to give patients
I love telling my patients that prevention is key, and I often encourage them to start with small, sustainable lifestyle changes.

Novi, MI

I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, dogs, friends and family (especially my three nieces). We enjoy camping, canoeing, live music and bonfires.
