Qigong

About This Event

In following CDC recommendations regarding gatherings, St. Luke’s has cancelled all support groups, community events and community educational offerings and will reevaluate following additional CDC guidelines.

Qigong (pronounced "chee gong") is designed to help patients manage stress, physical and emotional pain, and enhance the quality of their life and that of those around them. Qigong is practiced in a classroom setting, with a teaching style similar to a yoga class. The instructor leads participants through a series of exercises based on five different movements that affect different aspects of the body and mind. No special skills or abilities are needed. Relax, follow the instructor, and let qigong promote a healthier and happier life for you through its balanced body/mind approach.

Free classes on the first and third Mondays each month from 5-6:30 p.m.

Open to all patients.
