“Medical assistants are so important,” said Keely Viaene, Medical Assistant at St. Luke’s Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates. “We are there to help not only the patient, but also the provider.”

Keely enjoys the variety of tasks that come with her work. This includes taking blood pressures, administering injections and helping with procedures.

However, the best part of her job is coming alongside women as they journey through their pregnancies.

“I love getting excited with them,” she said. “From first appointments to finally seeing their beautiful bundles of joy. It’s such a special thing to be a part of.”
