Dr. Anne Silva-Benedict, Oncology & Hematology

“I strive to educate my patients,” said Dr. Anne Silva-Benedict, Hematologist and Oncologist at St. Luke’s. “I want them to understand their disease condition and management options so they can choose the treatments that are best suited for them.”

Part of the St. Luke's family for 10+ years, her typical day involves meeting with patients at St. Luke's Regional Cancer Center and helping them along in their cancer journey.

“The best part of my job,” she said, “is when I get to deliver good news to a patient with cancer.”

Her care philosophy is to provide individualized, comprehensive and compassionate care to each patient. She loves that at St. Luke’s, she’s not alone in doing that.
