Marissa, Physical Therapist
“My goal is to build more resilient humans,” said St. Luke’s Physical Therapist Marissa Levine, PT, DPT. “Teaching patients how to incorporate movement and exercise on a realistic level is one of my favorite things to do.”
Marissa sees patients at St. Luke’s Mariner Medical Clinic. Here, she helps with a variety of orthopedic conditions including joint pain, tendinopathies and post-operative care. She also treats issues with the joints that connect the skull to the jaw (temporomandibular joints).
This wide range of patients and conditions is something Marissa appreciates about her work. “I love the variety of my caseload,” she said. “I get to work so many different people, from 9-year-olds to 90-year-olds!”
She also appreciates the culture of her workplace. “I feel like a valued employee,” she said. “That’s why I keep coming back every day!”
Thank you, Marissa, for providing individualized compassionate care to so many patients!
