Lake View Ribbon Cutting CeremonyLake View in Two Harbors celebrated the opening of its major medical campus expansion project with a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday, September 15.

The $15 million project connects Lake View Hospital to Lake View Medical Clinic and Lake View Pharmacy, creating one building. The 38,000-square-foot development allows for a new specialty clinic space, expanded lab services, and an expanded inpatient pharmacy to support future infusion therapy services. The expansion also includes a community gathering space for up to 90 people. The space can be used for community health education, wellness activities, meetings for area organizations, leadership development and more.

“This project is such an asset to our community and our patients,” Lake View President and CEO Greg Ruberg said. “We are proud to be investing in the health of our community and creating a model of health care that works better for those we serve. It’s innovative, flexible, efficient and will serve our community for decades to come.”

The project was designed by architect BWBR and built by Kraus-Anderson Construction Company. The project includes room for the future expansion of surgical and procedural care, and urgent care.
