St. Luke’s Anesthesia Associates Welcomes Dr. Justin Heser

St. Luke’s Anesthesia Associates welcomes Dr. Justin Heser.

Prior to joining St. Luke’s, Dr. Heser was a member of the U.S. Air Force stationed in San Antonio, Texas. During His Air Force career he was deployed to North Africa and Afghanistan, as well as several humanitarian missions to Central America. While stationed in San Antonio, Dr. Heser worked at Brooke Army Medical Center where he was an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and served as Vice Chair of Quality and Safety in the Department of Anesthesia.

Dr. Heser received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. During this time, he was elected Chief Resident of Anesthesiology by his peers. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
