St. Luke's Names Anna Peterson Director of Case Management

St. Luke’s welcomes Anna Peterson, BSN, RN-BC as Director of Case Management.

Peterson graduated from the College of St. Scholastica with a Bachelor of Science Nursing and a Master of Business Administration–Rural Healthcare Administration.

Prior to joining St. Luke’s, Peterson was a Clinical Supervisor and RN Case Manager at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital of Superior. While at Essentia, there were several times she served as interim director of nursing and interim nurse manager. She is board certified in Case Management by ANCC.

In her role, Peterson assures that her team has the resources and understanding of the regulations to safely transition patients throughout the continuum of care with discharge planning. She assures patients meet medical necessity requirements for hospitalization per Medicare and private insurance requirements. Peterson also works on continual innovation to manage the needs of the complex patient population in conjunction with community resources and partners.
