Free Prostate Cancer Screenings - Mountain Iron

Categories: Events

About This Event

According to the American Cancer Society, prostate cancer is the second most common cancer and is the second leading cause of cancer death in American men. But early detection can lead to better outcomes, and getting screened is quick and easy!

If you’re age 55 – 69 and haven’t been screened for prostate cancer in the last two years, you’re invited to attend our free screening event.

Hosted by St. Luke’s Regional Cancer Center, the screening will be done with a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test. The test is conducted through a simple blood draw from the arm and takes about 15 minutes.

These screenings are free and open to all men 55 – 69 years old who haven’t been screened for prostate cancer in the last two years. No appointment required and you do not need to be a St. Luke’s patient to receive the free screening.
