Amber Johnson, St. Luke's

St. Luke’s is pleased to welcome Hibbing native Amber Johnson, PA-C, to its Interventional Radiology Team.

Johnson earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing from the College of St. Scholastica. She is board certified as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Johnson worked as a registered nurse for several years and pursued becoming a physician assistant to extend her abilities. She wanted to help with the full continuum of care – before, during and after procedures. She believes everyone is deserving of health care that is both skilled and compassionate.

Outside of work, Johnson enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, especially with her son. She also likes to cycle, hike, run, hunt for agates and play bass guitar.
