Lake View Earns Guardian of Excellence Award
Lake View in Two Harbors has been honored with the Guardian of Excellence Award. Lake View has proven their commitment to patients by sustaining performance within the top 5% nationally for patient experience.
“Every encounter with our patients and families matters,” Greg Ruberg, president/CEO of Lake View Hospital & Vice President of St. Luke’s said. “This award is a true reflection of the high-caliber team we have working across our healthcare organization.”
The award honors healthcare organizations that have reached the 95th percentile in patient experience scores across the United States. Press Ganey awards recipients of the Guardian of Excellence Award annually.
When Ruberg took his position in 2014 at Lake View, which is a member of St. Luke’s, it became his goal to “build a healthcare team that would achieve the 90th percentile nationally for patient experience.” Patient experience is one of the five pillars of Lake View’s Behaviors of Excellence. Lake View has adhered to its unwavering commitment of addressing valued patient feedback to better the already outstanding care provided.
“This is an accomplishment that our team should all be very proud of,” said Ruberg.
