Breast health throughout a woman's life

Breast health is important throughout all the stages of a woman's life. Knowing what's normal for your breasts throughout your menstrual cycle, during perimenopause and postmenopause, can help women know when to consult their doctor about breast lumps, breast pain or nipple discharge.

Every woman has a medical and family history that helps determine what breast screening schedules are right for her. Talking with your primary care doctor or OB-GYN physician will help determine your schedule for clinical breast exams, mammograms and breast ultrasounds.

Unsure if you need to see a specialist? Need a physician referral?
