da Vinci^® Surgical System

The da Vinci Surgical System is an innovative technology that takes minimally invasive surgery to the next level. Currently used by St. Luke's Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates and St. Luke's Urology Associates, da Vinci's magnified, 3-D perspective enhances precision, flexibility and control. Using the robot-assisted da Vinci, physicians can perform highly intricate procedures involving the kidneys, bladder and prostate, complex hysterectomies and other gynecologic surgeries with less post-operative pain, fewer complications, decreased blood loss and shorter recovery periods.

St. Luke's physicians continue to advance their proficiency with the help of the da Vinci simulator, a training tool that uses operative scenarios to improve dexterity and skills. St. Luke's is one of the few medical centers in the country to offer the simulator tool.
