Biography

Tierney provides psychotherapy to adults with a focus on trauma. She practices with a relational, person-centered and social justice lens, and uses a more holistic approach, focusing on the “whole person.”

Certified by the Minnesota Board of Social Work, Tierney specializes in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) and complex trauma, as well as other emotional and behavioral issues related to traumatic incidents. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and is Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed.

Tierney has experience working with adults with co-occurring disorders, dissociative disorders, anxiety and depression. She also has knowledge and experience working with survivors of trafficking and survivors of systemic abuse.
