Philosophy of care
“I always encourage my patients to try. I talk with a lot of my patients that no matter how they are feeling that day we will work together to do the best we can. If a patient is willing to attempt the tasks presented to them, no matter how high their pain levels are or how fatigued they are, I find that a success.”

Why Maggie went into therapy
”I wanted to go into therapy to help others navigate through what could potentially be one of the most difficult stages in their lives. Occupational therapy encompasses a wide variety of skills that many people do not realize will be impacted even by the smallest medical complexity.”

Favorite advice to give patients
“My favorite advice to give patients is that there is always a way that we can work together and problem solve so that they are able to accomplish a task independently.”

“I enjoy fishing (all year round), running, mountain biking, reading and playing with my dogs.”
