Luke, Facility Assistant

Posted On:

“I’ve been here for 18 years!” shared Luke, Facility Assistant at St. Luke’s. “I still love it, just as much as I did when I first started. The way things are around here, you don’t ever feel like you’re taking orders from the top down. We’re all in this together for our patients.”

Every day, Luke and his team serve as the first point-of-contact for everyone coming to St. Luke’s. “When people get here, we check them in. If they need help finding their way, we’re here for them,” he said. “My whole job is about being helpful. I want to make sure that every person I talk to feels valued and that they have a good experience. It’s a blessing to be able to do that.”

Luke enjoys his work so much that he’s even convinced both his wife and his son to join him. “My son’s a security guard here and my wife started in the Patient Access Center last August,” he said. “I’m happy they get to see firsthand that this is an amazing organization to be a part of!”

Thank you, Luke, for your dedication and commitment to our patients! St. Luke’s wouldn’t be the same without you.
