Treatment and Isolation
Currently there is no antiviral medication recommended to treat COVID-19. Treatment is directed at relieving symptoms and may include pain relievers such as Tylenol, medicine to help cough symptoms, rest and fluid intake.
You should isolate yourself for at least 24 hours after:
- Your fever goes away without the use of fever-reducing medicine;
- AND other symptoms have improved (cough or shortness of breath);
- AND at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.
