BLS Instructor Update Course (AHA)

About This Event

The BLS Instructor Update Course is designated to assist AHA BLS Instructors to maintain their current instructor status.

Prerequisite:

• A copy of your current AHA BLS Instructor card
• A completed instructor monitoring form from the past renewal period
• Taught (4) classes in your two year certification period to complete the renewal (this information is required to complete the Instructor update form)
• Attend updates as required within the previous two years

Objectives for the Course:

• Successfully demonstrate all provider skills
• Successfully complete the BLS Instructor written exam with a passing score of 84% or higher
• Complete the Instructor Update form
• Complete BLS Instructor Course Evaluation form
