Your Safety Is Our Top Priority

We are committed to providing the best care for you and your family and we want to meet your expectations and your needs. Please let us know if we do not.

We recommend you have a family member or friendwith you during your health care visits. They can provide comfort and supportas well as help ask questions and take notes.

Your safety is central to every aspect withinour hospital. It is the top priority at all levels of our organizationincluding management, physicians, and staff. Examples of our internalinitiatives are:

  • A patient safety committee evaluates any safety concern from staff, patients, or family members and develops steps to make our hospital a safe place to receive your care.
  • Ensuring all physicians are board certified and that all health care professionals participate in continuing education.
  • Medication safety safeguards provide back-up checks to make sure you receive the right medication, the right dose, with the right delivery method at the right time. If you have any questions about your medication, please ask.
  • Voluntary participation in Leapfrog GroupSurvey. Leapfrog is a coalition of more than 100 public and private organizations that share our commitment to provide the safest healthcare possible.
