Brain Injury Program

The Brain Injury Program provides comprehensive rehabilitation for individuals with traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries.  These injuries occur as a result of motor vehicle accidents, blunt trauma, anoxia, meningitis, etc.

Types of Difficulties

The following is a list of difficulties that can be experienced following a head injury.

  • Decreased balance/instability
  • Muscle weakness or paralysis
  • Visual perceptual problems
  • Speech and/or language difficulties
  • Memory loss and/or cognitive deficits
  • Difficulties with social interaction and behavior problems
  • Loss of bowel and bladder function
