St. Luke's Hospital is a level II JCAHO accredited, 267-bed regional Trauma Center with a hospital in Duluth and primary and specialty clinics throughout the region. St. Luke's serves patients using the best medical technology available and with the highest level of compassion. St. Luke's currently has three types of Internal Medicine Opportunities.
St. Luke's Internal Medicine Associates (SLIMA)
Practice Specifics: St. Luke's Internal Medicine Associates is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join a thriving group of 15 physicians. This is a full scope Internal Medicine practice including an open ICU where physicians can manage patients to their comfort level. Intensivists, pulmonologists and other specialists are readily available to assist with ICU patient management. Candidates have the variety of an inpatient/outpatient practice and admit to St. Luke's Hospital. Call is 1:10 during the week and one weekend a month. This position is employed by the hospital and is receives full benefits. This opportunity is non MUA/HPSA.

St. Luke's Internal Medicine Hospitalist Practice
Practice Specifics: St. Luke's Internal Medicine Associates is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join a hospital group of 3 physicians. This position covers hospital admissions, phone calls, and consults from 8pm to 6am. Once admitted, patients are seen by their primary care physician during normal business hours. This specialized hospitalist program has reduced the number of phone calls during evening hours and overall has been an extremely well-received program. Physicians are able to manage patients in the ICU to their comfort level. Intensivists, pulmonologists, and other specialists are readily available to assist with ICU patient management. Hospitalist physicians work 7 days on and then have 7 days off. This position is employed by the hospital and receives full benefits; including 4 weeks of paid vacation on top of their time off. This opportunity is non MUA/HPSA.

Duluth Internal Medicine Associates (DIMA)
Practice Specifics:Duluth Internal Medicine Associates is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join an established group of 6 physicians. This is a full scope Internal Medicine practice including an open ICU where physicians can manage patients to their comfort level. Intensivists, pulmonologists, and other specialists are readily available to assist with ICU patient management. Candidates have the variety of an inpatient/outpatient practice and admit to local hospitals. Call is 1:6 during the week and on weekends. This opportunity is non MUA/HPSA.

Hibbing Family Medical Clinic
Practice Specifics: Hibbing Family Medical Clinic is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join a thriving group of physicians. This is a full scope Internal Medicine practice including an open ICU where physicians can manage patients to their comfort level. Candidates have the variety of an inpatient/outpatient practice and admit to Fairview University Medical Center-Mesabi. This opportunity is non MUA/HPSA.

Community Description:Located just 75 miles northwest of Duluth, Hibbing is located on Minnesota's Iron Range and is known as the "Grand Canyon of the North". It boasts 32 parks, two golf courses, a skatepark, softball/baseball fields, soccer fields, indoor & outdoor ice rinks, fishing, hunting, boating, bocce ball, horseshoes, cross country ski trails, the Hibbing raceway, a marksmanship center, and is on the Mesabi Bike Trail.
