Additional Information
St. Luke's Clinics will coordinate and process your referrals for needed specialty services that are approved by your primary care provider. You can help by letting us know when your insurance company or health plan requires a referral or prior authorization for specific procedures. If you have questions about referrals, call your Clinic's business office for assistance.
All St. Luke’s Clinics participate in Medicare, Medical Assistance, and most commercial insurance and health plans available in our region. If you have questions about insurance coverage at any of our Clinics, please call your insurance company or health plan.
Co-pays will be collected at the time of your office visit, and we will file your primary and secondary insurance claims for you.
After we receive payment from your insurance/health plan, you will be billed for deductibles, additional co-pays and any services not covered by your insurance. A finance charge of one percent per month may be applied to all patient balances that are more than 90 days past due.
We will assist you in payment arrangements for elective procedures not covered by insurance prior to the service.
We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover. If you need assistance with payment arrangements, please speak with one of our patient account representatives at your Clinic.
Refilling Prescription Medication
When you need a prescription refilled for medication we have prescribed for you, please have your pharmacy contact your Clinic directly. With your doctor’s approval, we can coordinate the refill for you, saving you time.
Please note that we cannot refill medications prescribed for you by other physicians. Please contact that physician's office for refills that cannot be done through your pharmacy.
Our office hours are generally Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please call the Clinic to schedule an appointment.
Please give 24-hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment.
When the clinic is closed, a physician is always on call to respond to your urgent medical needs. If you call the Clinic after business hours you will automatically be transferred to the answering service.
Many insurance plans require patients to get a physician referral before seeking Urgent Care or care in a hospital emergency room. The on-call physician can provide appropriate referrals if needed. In cases of life-threatening emergencies, dial 911 or your community’s designated emergency number.
