Additional Information

Referrals

St. Luke's Clinics will coordinate and process your referrals for needed specialty services that are approved by your primary care provider. You can help by letting us know when your insurance company or health plan requires a referral or prior authorization for specific procedures. If you have questions about referrals, call your Clinic's business office for assistance.

Referrals are welcome and accepted from individuals, families, physicians, therapists, clergy and social service agencies. If the patient is an adult, they will be expected to make the call for scheduling themselves. In the case of a minor child, a parent or legal guardian can call and schedule.

Process

Potential clients will be scheduled with an intake coordinator who will briefly assess the problems or issues you are coming in with, review office practices, and address any questions or concerns you have. The intake coordinator will then match you with the most approprate provider or agency to meet your mental health needs.

Billing &  Insurance

All St. Luke's Clinics participate in Medicare, Medical Assistance, and most commercial insurance and health plans available in our region. If you have questions about insurance coverage at any of our Clinics, please call your insurance company or health plan.

Co-pays will be collected at the time of your office visit, and we will file your primary and secondary insurance claims for you.

After we receive payment from your insurance/health plan, you will be billed for deductibles, additional co-pays and any services not covered by your insurance. A finance charge of one percent per month may be applied to all patient balances that are more than 90 days past due.

We will assist you in payment arrangements for elective procedures not covered by insurance prior to the service.

We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover. If you need assistance with payment arrangements, please speak with one of our patient account representatives at your Clinic.

Refilling Prescription Medication

When you need a prescription refilled for medication we have prescribed for you, please have your pharmacy contact your Clinic directly. With your doctor's approval, we can coordinate the refill for you, saving you time. Please try to request medication refills during your scheduled appointments.

Please note that we cannot refill medications prescribed for you by other physicians. Please contact that physician's office for refills that cannot be done through your pharmacy.
