Infectious Diseases

Treating the infection at its source

St. Luke's Infectious Disease Associates consists of highly-specialized physicians who diagnose and treat infections, such as Lyme disease or influenza, that are caused by microorganisms like bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. They work on a consultation basis with other physicians to determine which diagnostic tests and treatments would be best for each individual case.

Treatments often consist of antibiotic medications given orally or intravenously to help battle the infection. Treatment plans for outpatient care are formulated in cooperation with primary care providers and home health agencies. Patients are seen in the office and hospital settings.

If you are planning on traveling outside of the United States or Canada, make sure to consult St. Luke's International Travel Health Center. We offer pre-travel counseling, immunization and health advice for adults and children.

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is available at St. Luke’s Infectious Disease Associates.
