Dr. Giorgi is a member of our team at St. Luke’s Cardiology Associates.
He is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiology, and internal
medicine. Dr. Giorgi has also worked as an assistant professor at the
University of Missouri-Kansas City and as a member of the pioneering cardiology
team at the Mid America Heart Institute. He is a member of the American
College of Cardiology.
After watching his mentor at Mayo in Rochester, Dr. Giorgi knew he wanted
to specialize in cardiology. He loves that cardiology requires him to
work with both his wits and his hands. He believes that as a doctor, he
is also a teacher, so he relays his medical knowledge to his patients
using terms they understand.
Dr. Giorgi has a wife of 38 years, three children and two grandchildren.
He is originally from Eveleth, Minnesota and his wife is from the Twin
Cities. The couple moved to Duluth to be closer to family, and because
Dr. Giorgi enjoys working for a close-knit hospital system.
In his free time, Dr. Giorgi and his wife are building their retirement
home, and planning for retirement. As his family is very important to
him, the retirement home is located near several members of his family.
Dr. Giorgi also enjoys traveling. He has been to Europe several times,
and now plans to visit all fifty states via car.
