Dr. Giammar joined St. Luke's Mariner Medical Clinic as a family physician
in August 2015. She is board certified in family medicine and is a member

Dr. Giammar knew she wanted to be a primary care physician since the age
of 14. She originally dreamed of being a pediatrician, but when she learned
more about family medicine, Dr. Giammar realized she wanted to provide
comprehensive family care.
Dr. Giammar loves building relationships with her patients and their entire
family. She believes that providing great care means understanding a person’s
life circumstances and the effects those have on health. She works to
provide her patients with evidence-based care while motivating and empowering
them to own their health.
Dr. Giammar, her husband and three sons moved to the Twin Ports area for
many reasons, including proximity to family. The Twin Ports area provides
the amenities of a big city with a small town feel—a big draw for
Dr. Giammar, along with the large variety of outdoor activities available.
She wants to raise her children to be active and enthusiastic about the
outdoors, and the Twin Ports is the perfect place to do so.
In her free time, Dr. Giammar can be found enjoying the great outdoors
with her family. She likes to run, swim and hike. If she cannot make it
outside, she enjoys spending her time baking.
